Synopsis

LESSON ONE A boy named Bobby and his father are killed by gangsters led by Mr. Ving, who are trying to move into Gotham City. Batgirl wants to help solve the case, Batman tells her she isn't ready to be a detective.   Mr. Ving goes into hiding when he learns Batman is on his trail, but Batman and Batgirl track him down anyway. They fight his men, knocking them unconscious, and Batman identifies Bobby's killer and writes "DNA" on his forehead for the police.  Batgirl feels like they didn’t do enough. Mr. Ving and his men might have been brought to justice and they cannot kill anyone else, but that isn't enough. Batman says, "Good." Now she is ready to be a detective.
